Shopping In Somerset
Somerset is home to a number of unique shopping experiences for every taste and budget. Take your pick from historic farmers’ markets, modern mega shopping complexes and everything in between.
Bristol boasts the largest shopping centre in the South West, so if you’re planning a full day of shopping then this is the place to go. If you like to shop at a smaller scale then we’d suggest visiting some local vibrant towns and cities such as Exeter, Taunton, Wells and Bridgwater.
Most major supermarkets are located within a 10-minute drive of Summerhayes. If you’d prefer to buy local produce during your stay, then Pyne’s of Somerset showcases some of the finest local and regional food. They have an in-store butchers, bakery and fishmongers, and are just a 5-minute drive from Summerhayes.
Clarks Village - Street
Clarks Village is a fantastic outlet shopping complex that boasts over 90 designer and high street shops. It was the first outlet shopping village in the UK when it was built back in 1993, and has since been a firm favourite when in need of some discounted retail therapy!
The complex also offers a good selection of restaurants, food carts and coffee shops. We’d recommend visiting the nearby heated Greenbank Outdoor Swimming Pool if you feel like cooling down with the family after a busy day of shopping.
